Should public bathrooms be free?

@HairbrushDiva In Plymouth, Massachusetts, right near the Mayflower exhibit. They smell horrible, and there is always toilet paper all over the floor, but if you are a tourist, you are SO grateful!

@4meAndyou I've never been to the USA. I've heard of Massachusetts, of course, but I didn't know there was a Plymouth there. We have a Plymouth in England.

Bathrooms shouldn't smell horrible, but if those ones do maybe they need people to bath in Mayflower-scented water. Lol :)

@HairbrushDiva 🤣 If you've ever been to a concert held outside in a field, or to an impromptu Medieval Faire, the portable outhouses provided smell the same.

The problem with public bathrooms is that they are seldom cleaned.

@4meAndyou The problem with "public bathrooms" is that there is no such thing in my city.

@HairbrushDiva Well...you probably don't have tourist attractions? With big crowds? And is it possible that you don't have a homeless population living on the streets?

@4meAndyou I know people who originally came from other towns and they've never spoken of public bathrooms either.

@HairbrushDiva Here in the USA the Chamber of Commerce pays to build and maintain them.

@4meAndyou I've never been to the USA in my life so I wouldn't know.

@HairbrushDiva Come for a visit when this rotten virus is over. I highly recommend booking a flight on a small private plane and flying through the Grand Canyon!

@HairbrushDiva Yes...but then you mentioned that you had never been to the USA, and I commented that you should come for a visit! BTW...there is a huge building on the Grand Canyon overlook with public bathrooms...🤣. We have them in all our state and National Parks.

@4meAndyou I think I see it now. You have public bathrooms in the USA and we don't have them in the UK. I hope the baths are in private cubicles like toilets.

@HairbrushDiva For the amount of money they pay for actors, they are probably not going to show you the inside of a public park bathroom...🤣. However, the public may use the bathrooms, also, in almost every gas station, fast food restaurant, and coffee and donut shop across the USA.
