Companies these days do not care about customers

I have a JCPenny Card. I only use that card roughly twice a year. I stay enrolled in traditional paper billing as a reminder to pay the bill because that card is simply not on my radar to remember.
Why the heck now if you don't agree to their stupid aggressive pop-ups to go paperless they now refuse to allow you to view previous statements.
The statements are already available by the time that the company prints them out to mail.
This is purely a force tactic to get a paying customer to not have a real option for a paper bill. Its retaliation.
wonder if that's partly why those stores are shutting down one by one

@lovelywarpedlemon You are right who makes the decision to limit customers to punish them for not going paperless. Im trying to support brick and mortar stores occasionally

They are lucky to be open. They are trying to save money

@HoraceGreenley Sure but how bout if I just don't shop there. How many people are actually refusing to go paperless? My 2 or 3 statements per year really gonna kill them off?
HoraceGreenley · 56-60, M
@REMsleep They are doing that to everyone

Probably a tactic by synchrony bank. That has to be the sorriest bank ever.

@Bigwill75 Yes it is Synchrony Bank. I'm surprised you know who handles their credit accounts lol
Yes no other company that I know of prevents you from seeing you past history only if you don't go paperless.
You have to request online and they will mail you a statement.

@REMsleep I have an account with Belk and they use synchrony I know their tactics. They will lower your credit limit and then mail you a letter saying they done so not knowing that if you go to use it the card may be declined and your standing there looking confused like why.
