Anybody else hate the digital world?

Since computers and the internet has allowed everybody to connect. Businesses and other important places are now online and interconnected. 'The system". As such people get grumpy with you if you prefer to deal face to face or to use hard copy.
Every thing is so connected the system cannot deal with hard copy anymore. But what if, the system rejects you?
I do not know how it happened. And when I show this problem to the people who so condescendingly snubbed me for the idea only to discover they can't work it out for themselves either, what then?

I know there are 7 other people in the state that have the same name as me. That may have gummed up the works. But surely I can't be the only one having problems with this electronic age...

Much of the tech. modern world is useless as far as I’m concerned.

Never had a mobile phone until one boss told me it was essential I had one !
Never bought a word processor until an interviewer told me hand written c:v’s are rejected these days.
My Brother gave me my first pc and other than typing my updated c:v’s I only used it for playing Columns !

People falling over themselves for the latest piece of tech (those bloody interminable hour long presentations for the latest model I-phone release) junk ! All junk !
@Picklebobble2 some people but new phone models every year to stay updated

@mysteryespresso Why ? Dip people forget how to dial numbers ?
Are e-Mail addresses so complex these days they require new data in a phone to access ?
Why is crap music so essential to have on your phone ?
Why is streaming rubbish a necessity ???

You need tech that’s useful !
This is what I don’t understand about apps !

Why doesn’t every device come with a free first aid app ?
Why doesn’t every device come with a ‘Cheapest usage’ button ?

Although I can print out required documents for anything important, there is a HUGE problem going on around in the UK. Every retail, Business and even banks! You will hear "Online," do this online, do that online.

An irreversible human thought process making us lazy. Businesses now have excuses (we're saving paper and your "valuable" time)... LOL what was happening pre 2000 then? Or before 70's??? People had to actually plan ahead to get paper work done, go places for their meetings.
I like it but it can be problematic. But I guess that's with anything.

I hate how chaotic informatization is. Areas which we should deal with face to face are dealt impersonally and things that could be easily solved by a few clicks still take half of my day because I can't reach the office. I don't hate digital world, I hate how poorly accustomed we are to it yet and how imperfect many systems are.

There are aspects of it I like: being able to communicate quickly if needed; being able to find information relatively easily. What I don't like is how it's reducing normal face-to-face contact and relating - even though I'm an introvert!

@mysteryespresso Perservere as best I can I guess... Its bad at the moment cause I'm still with Centerlink. And cause its all online they have reduced that amount of people working there so there is less people to help.
And since Medicare is linked with Centerlink online... WTF
