Do you defend unhealthy mechanisms when you're asked about yours?

if this applies to you
SW-User
I used to when I felt ashamed of them I guess.
I'm not ashamed anymore. It is what it is for now, until I succeed in moving past those.

wackidywack22-25

@wackidywack theres what鈥檚 going on the surface and then what鈥檚 going on underneath the surface 馃憖馃憖

I have always worked on it without talking about it. It's not that I was defensive or insecure, but I didn't see a point sharing it with people who couldn't do a thing about it. I'm accountable for my own mistakes and flaws. Others don't have to keep a note of it.
wackidywack22-25
@SW-User i dont doubt that at all. you always seem to exhibit integrity
IngweF
I know shopping is a coping mechanism
it's a nice way
wackidywack22-25
@Ingwe i think it's only unhealthy when it becomes excessive
SapphicHeartF
I have. It鈥檚 time for me to get back to rediscover my own more healthy basics.
KuroNeko41-45, F
Not defend so much as try to explain how they came about.
deadgerbil22-25

wackidywack22-25
@deadgerbil you seem very transparent, gerby
