Can you stand a bunch of criticism (or feedback) at a time, even if someone just wants to help you?

I had my best female friend give me feedback on my text for applying for a job, and when I saw the bunch of messages, I refused to look at them. But then the very first one said "doesn't matter for this one" and I was like "then why that bunch of messages 🙄"
