Ngl, ever since I got into pharmacology

And apothecary. It makes you realize how amazing our Planet really is. Giving us herbal medicine and cures that we touch and live with everyday. It’s so amazing how much an herb can save a life...but also end one.
Apparently this is known as “green witch”. Look I don’t believe or practice witchcraft 😅 I find it cool not gonna lie, but I’m making natural shit that the earth provides and gives. It’s just so cool!

Pharmacology is a cool subject but often people have such a distorted image of it, they are making it seem like the modern day "witchcraft" and are ready to burn all the science behind it at the stake.

@HannibalAteMeOut exactly, I’m getting my chemistry degree to get into pharmacy school. From what I always hear is practicing herbal medicine (which has been done for thousands of years) is considered witchcraft. People are so simple minded. Drinking chamomile for an upset stomach would be considered witchcraft, but it’s just freaking tea 😅. Like people do it everyday without realizing it.

@SW-User I also hate when I hear the word "chemicals" as if it's something bad, like you bet that everything around us is chemicals! They're not bad. Like the chemicals in food, vaccines etc... Without those we wouldn't be where we are right now lol.

@HannibalAteMeOut I should point out that "scary chemicals" in medicine is often less scary than some of the "natural" stuff you find if you know about botany. Tell someone to eat some oleander, tell them to let me know how it goes.

@basilfawlty89 that's right, at least in medicine they're made in order to do good to our body and at the right dose.

@basilfawlty89 @HannibalAteMeOut same if someone is poisoned with Jimson weed and the antidote is Snow Drop...crazy

@SW-User that's cool 😮

@HannibalAteMeOut though you got to be very careful cause components of snowdrops contain alkaloid concentration (basic organic chemistry) which can cause nausea and seizures 😳
