People can find any reason to lie. But is lying a forgivable offense? Could they ever earn your trust back?
A friend lied to me about relationship problems that she was having and the fact that the guy was very threatened by me. She wound up breaking up with him, and now I just laugh at the whole thing. Shit happens yo!

i think sometimes you lie to a loved one so they avoid a mistake that they cant see themselves. for there own good in a way. as long as they understand that it could have been a mistake.

Yes, I forgive people. But lies change the relationship and how I think and feel about a person.

I’ll eventually forgive, but forgetting and trusting again would probably be next to impossible.

It depends on what the lie was about. We all tell white lies all the time, right?

No. It sucks. I wish I could forgive and forget, but I cannot forget.
