Cold days/nights - do you prefer a shower or a bath to get clean and feel good ?

Given that here in Australia we're deep in our Autumn (aka 'fall') season heading towards the southern hemisphere winter due to the earth tilting on it's orbit around the sun, I was wondering what people prefer on cold nights - a shower or a hot bath?
I'm single and have no significant other to share showering or bathing with, so normally I just go for showers as they are the practical option, but sometimes a deep hot bath can be really divine even on my own if I have the time.
Also, how often do you wash in the colder times of the year?
