It happens, but it's really not that high. Most of the guys pretending to be women are just one-off sexual fantasy accounts that don't last long.

But in terms of active, engaged users most of the women here are actually women. Long-term, serious catfish accounts are pretty uncommon.

Most of the catfishes are not posters in the good threads. They tend to crash the inboxes which makes them easy to spot.
