When do the opinions of what others may think of you matter to you?

Depends on the situation. I don't give a shit what people think about the way I live my life unless

a) it affects them, or

b) they have good, compelling arguments.

My family and close friends opinions matter to me.

Of course they matter. Not everyone's, but I don't want people I care about to think I'm a monster or something, ffs.

They matter to everyone whether or not they admit it except like sociopaths. But we gotta try and only let constructive ones impact us ✨
