My life is that of a depressed button .. I have no clue as to who pressed me ?

and I have no clue as to why I remain in this depressed state
Is that a manufacturing defect?

Do all of you have a spring under you to spring back?
Was I alone made to be stuck in a depressed state?

I am really jealous of the shifts..
