What is your earliest childhood memory

Me taking a boat ride
rckt14861-69, M
I was about 2 ...on the beach
and the rip tide washed the sand from under my feet
Mom and Grandma pulling me up ..I was choking from trying to breath water

Mom said "you can't remember that " until I told her who was there with us
and we cooked on the beach ,,yes I do remember it ,,and lots of other things too
I have a very good memory ,,its a blessing and a curse
switchfoot36-40, M
@rckt148 Yeah being able to remember everything can be a curse as well as blessing
rckt14861-69, M
@switchfoot I have to be aware and very careful what I let get into my brain
once its in there ,I can't get it out ,and I never forget
The loss of loved ones ,,that hard
But I learn fast
As a rule .if I watch something being done .and I want to know how to do it too ..I pick it up quick
I play many instruments ,I have hundreds of songs I can preform right off the top of my head ,,(I have played 13 hours straight and never played the same song twice ) and I am a perfectionist ..If I am doing something
I want it right
So it has its painful moment ..but I have finally learned to use it to my advantage
I am not the one you want to lie to

@rckt148 oh wow you sound really amazing and talented. I tried playing instrument but I lost interest....I wish I could learn from you 馃槉
Migrating to the United States from Mexico when I was 3 (1981). My family waited at the fairly crowded port of entry station from what felt like an eternity, lol.

The first time I saw a frog it jumped on me and scared me - mom picked it up and put it in the pond. I also remember dad reading bedtime stories.

@switchfoot Thanks but not really. I fell onto grass and continued to munch in my sandwich. Apparently, it was a good few seconds before anyone in the family realised I was missing, lol
switchfoot36-40, M
@Moonpenny haha that's awesome. God I wish I could be a kid again...go back in time...as kids we aren't bothered about the opinion of others..just lost in our own fantasy world
