Why am I crying? Why can’t I stop?

I woke up this morning, and I started crying. I’ve felt the need to cry since yesterday morning, and my eyes have watered, but I hadn’t actually cried. I have no idea why I’m crying. I have depression, which I’m on medication for. School just started for me, but it’s going well. Can anyone help? I can’t stop crying.

The only other thing I could tell you. Sometimes as we get older and our bodies change and we prepare for monthly things. The PMS gets the best of you. Sometimes even in the post monthly syndrome you cry it just plays with your emotions. If you haven't received your monthly it's a sign it could be on its way or it could just be the after effects. Us women get older our body puts us through some strange things. And to be honest I really hope that that's the case because you're too young to be so depressed about anything. Enjoy life you take the world in the palm of your hand. And whatever troubles you have I assure you as is the old saying..... This too shall pass. I promise.

@LaLumieri I often get very depressed in the few days after my period. I've wondered why and I guess it's the aftereffects you mentioned.

I abominate the so-called anti-depression medication. I abominate the fact that people even consider them a need.

Please hold up. I know you not, but let not your depression have you. I'm sure there's tons of ppl on this site who'd love to talk to you about your depression, so do reach out to us.

Why do you want to stop crying ? If I were you I would let it all out but take my words with a grain of salt.

Maybe it has something to do with your meds @marilynmichelle

Call your doc and see if you can take a higher dose of your meds
