Does it hurt you when someone tells you you’re mean and hateful?

When you defend yourself or refuse to allow certain behaviors to interfere with you?
Do you back down or fight back ?

Not necessarily. I feel bad that someone could interpret my actions that way. I would never want to purposefully hurt anyone. But it can be a learning lesson on how to better voice my thoughts. I don't want to grow so arrogant that people's feelings stop mattering to me

I felt the same. I truly cared for this person and all that mattered to them was what they wanted. @TinyViolins

@SW-User Unfortunately, many people don't realize what they have until it's gone

Agreed if ever . Thank you :)@TinyViolins

I step back to reevaluate my actions but I don't let other people decide whether or not I am taking it too far. Especially if they hurt me first, they need to consider the source of my reaction.

We're equal, just like I can work on improving how I treat them, they need to work on improving how they treat me.

:) Exactly what I try to do as well . It backfired because I refused to except blame .@Miram

Yes. I started listening when people told me that. Even though I was just trying to defend myself or other people, I was going about it the wrong way. My defense was to attack back. I don't do that anymore.
SW-User
I understand. I don’t want to attack anymore. I make myself so sad because I’m too intense. @SW-User

When you disagree with someone and they are to stupid to argue their point the answer is always. You are mean and hateful. The answer back to them, NOT as mean and hateful as you, have a nice day. 👋
Cut them out of my life.
