Does anyone use Skype anymore?

I could not Skype. I had a weird allergy to it. Every time I tried a video conversation, both fully clothed, with no prurient intentions - I dissolved into helpless uncontrollable giggles until the other party gave up in disgust. It is the only thing I’ve ever had that reaction to.

I just know that when we gonna be old, we're gonna talk to our grandchildren about all these social media networks like fb and how everyone was using them and they're gonna say it sounds lame

Nah. I used skype daily when my fiance and I were long-distance dating, but no need for it now that we live together.

Used to use Skype for voice and video calls occasionally, and I still do when talking to my nephew (my family is scattered around the country and some outside it too). For text chat after I kept using IRC after the slow decline of MSN. These days I keep most of my communication to Discord, both text chat, voice chat, video calls and screen sharing when needed.
