These “hard to get” references always remind me of a lady who worked with me for a number of years.
On her desk, she had a sign that said:

“I’m not playing hard to get....I AM hard to get!”
(she’s now married and has a daughter.....who someday will probably be “hard to get” as well)

I am hard to get cause I am not easy and just succumb at shallow level.. But how does that make me a dominant one ? cause I don't like to be a master, giving instructions all the time. But superior by mindset, maturity and things I talk and do etc.
