Do you think its possible to fix someone who has been broken?

SW-User
If a person thinks they can't be fixed, they won't be fixed. If a person believes it's possible for them to get better, they'll find a way to get better.

Sometimes. Other times it's like gluing back a broken vase. It may look whole, but the cracks are visible and it may easily break again.

NO - Some hearts that are broken can never be the same

I don't like using the word "fix" in regards to people. I don't think it's realistic to think that anyone with mental illness can be fixed. There are things that help and ways to cope, but I don't think the feelings I'm having now will ever go away. No amount of love, hope, or support will just make me better.

Yes it is because I used to be. It hasn’t been easy but I feel I'm pretty much healed from everything that happened 🌸

Of course it is. If that broken person wants to be duct taped back together again and will settle for steady progress.

They have to be willing to fix themselves, but you can be there to support them.
Not unless they want fixed and then you can't fix them but can give emotional support.
it probably is but I don't want to step in that bear trap again.

It is possible. Takes time, understanding, and trust
TheConstantGardener · 56-60, M
It's possible, with the right conditions.
i think so it'll just be difficult

I think that being broken is often the first step in being recreated. But only the one who was broken can choose his or her own recreation and effect it. It is not possible for one person to "fix" another, unless he or she is a doctor.

Only if they want to be fixed and actively participate in the process. Not otherwise. 😒
