I was also subject to come under fire attempting to do a routine safety boarding ,,or boarding Derelict vessels rigged to explode ,left there just for my station or boat crews ,,we busted a lot of Pablo Escobar's coke and pot
seized his boats and ships used to smuggle
Besides the Haitian and Cubans being released from prisons and mental institutions during the Mariel boatlift
Slave runners not wanting to be boarded for smuggling haitian's into the USA ,often times we were fired upon or they attempted to run us down in an attempt to sink us
and Poblo finally putting a contract on our base and boat crews
I have put my life on the line enough in my normal duties trying to rescue people from burning vessels ,or sinking
I have to save the vessel as we did not have enough space to take the whole crew and not enough time to wait for another boat ,,,I have almost died enough times in the line of duty

I have lots of friends and relatives who have .who also served in Vietnam ,,

now that I am a man and good at defending myself ,I actually liked when people feared me ,,
Its was not easy being humble at first ,but now my new heart is pretty tender ,I hate hurting anyone
I am around a lot of people who swear ,so I can turn into the people I am around ,so thats why I put myself out there
I want people to be shocked and say "I thought you were a Christian ",,,but now its over simple things like Damn ,or you ass ,,but its good that it makes them take note
It no longer sounds right coming from me ,,
But I am not trying to act like I am a perfect saint ,,
Paul said to be all things to all men ,,I live in the world ,I am just not part of it ,,and I repent often but I don't think I make our Father cringe with either of those words
I hope my example raises the standard ,but if I am out of line (the Holy Spirit convicts me if I am )
But if I am ,I welcome correction ,,its a fool that won't accept it if its just
I know the people (especially young people) have seen enough bad examples ,,I hope I am a good one

What do you classify as good anyway? We all have lied, we all have taken something we shouldn’t(yes, even the cookie we weren’t supposed to take...when we were little) we have all lusted after someone, hated someone....we are all flawed.

@MissMollyCharlotte0702 To be honest i don't see Good or evil so much as concepts on their own, as much as a combination of traits and actions that we attribute to it, a matter of definition really.

That being said i think someone who genuinely tries their best to brigthen the days of others of help to improve people's lives has "good" qualities, but there's more to it than that obviously.
