Debate: are a drunk persons words legit? Are they really the truth once things are expressed?

No, when they can’t walk in a straight line, can’t see properly, do silly things that they don’t even remember, how do you think their minds would function to speak the truth. They are just drunk ramblers and their emotions are numb, so they keep rambling. In the process they may say a few things that they mean to say. Doesn’t make their words legit.

Not necessarily because when your drunk you talk alot of shit but its true many confess things drunk and regret it later and the brain works harder to lie.
I've said alot of things drunk that don't even reflect my own believes, people have told me and I do not connect with some of the things I've said under the influence.
You might get some truth mixed with all kinds of stuff and your not going to know what's what because if they are lying or telling the truth their reactions ans body language will not line up if you were reading a sober person

No. If you're a sober liar, you're a drunk liar and even if you're a truth-teller sober, you are still likely a drunk liar.
