Now, the rebel Arcturians, in contrast, believe that the hibernation cycle is an artificial artifact introduced into the species by the gene creche dominators, and struggle against succumbing to hibernation. They call hiberation !Qesh-tak, which translates to "half death." Someone in this condition is called a !Qesh-tallek, or "half dead."
