@SW-User That's a good answer and makes sense. I just like mine because it's the right fit for me, I like it as do others.

@GJOFJ3 That's wonderful that you like your name my friend. I've got a few nicknames but the one I cherish the most was one my Dad gave me as a child. I carry his legacy via my eyes and smile but my nickname has a special significance because it makes me happy inside.

@Pianist1234 Some parents give boys names to girls and visa versa. If they don't mind or aren't teased as children I guess it's alright. To each his own as the saying goes.

@Pianist1234 Well then you can just tell the person who calls you "babe" you don't appreciate or like it then.

@DDonde I like the nickname my Dad gave me, just a few that I've been given over the years not so much.
