What illusion are you currently chasing?

How are you going to handle it when it brings you down to your knees when it shatters?

I’m done with chasing illusions, it’s too devastating in the end.

I’d rather not go into graphic detail about how I handle it when I’m on my knees. Right know I’ve stayed off my knees for a while.

Same as I always do, pick up the pieces and place them in my chest, with those of my heart, and onward we shall go, through this thing we call life. And if I should happen upon a soul who wishes to know me, I'll share with then the broken bits, they call it a scrap book because it's made of small pieces of larger things.

@lovingdead I'm floored. That's so beautifully phrased.

I don't chase illusions. I only chase what I know is attainable for me. This way, I'm never disappointed.

@SW-User Smart!

@SW-User I know myself very well and know my capabilities as well as my limitations.

SW-User

I am currently chasing the illusion that solitude will bring me contentment.

Suicide, maybe? (Hopefully.)
SW-User
@Myzery I really really hope not @ suicide.
I have done a swot analysis of myself, so I know what is attainable and what is not 😁
