Have you ever had a Dentist that was unusually concerned about causing you pain?

I mean, come on. You expect some pain when you go to the dentist. That's why you put it off for as long as possible. But the Dentist I saw today seemed fixated on it. He said I grind my teeth to badly at night and grinders don't have strong jaws. [I'm still trying to figure his logic on that one] So he kept trying to call for breaks so I can rest my jaw which didn't need resting.
Then he was very timid with the drill after he gave that needle. Somehow he thought I shouldn't feel a thing after the needle. But I did. So he tried to go as slow and easy as possible... Maybe if I had bit him he wouldn't give a Fig and get on with it...

Does he think you have a weak jaw? x-rays show that maybe

@Thevy29 oh ok I know there are issues with that to the jaw, have you looked it up to see the damage it can do?

Not yet. He did mention something about a mouth guard for night time to stop it getting worse. @HannahSky
