Do you think that laughing when a young child screams encourages them to be obnoxious as they grow up?

I think you have to be careful how you react to things children do..they sometimes say things that are not appropriate and if you laugh where they can see rather than explain its not appropriate they think it's ok because we found it funny.

I know that if you just let them scream it out in their room, they become unstable when they grow up.

@Jackaloftheazuresand I have no idea how that will impact him. It's tricky when it comes to human behaviors. Young brains can become susceptible to future obsessions and abnormal behaviors simply by exposure to normal events and processing them differently, sometimes due to genetics.

He may be fine as he ages, he may think it means being loud gets him attention..
Or it may lead to something completely different.

With kids, you just hope for the best.
