I feel raped by life.

So do I but I feel like I have been raped by my mil. I don’t think anyone could possibly understand. People say this all the time but I have nightmares and invasive thoughts about being raped and molested by her and her daughters. I feel like I can’t get away so I stay from everyone.

Hmm... I feel more like a battered spouse. It tries to tell me it loves me and sometimes it can be really sweet. But I know it's just a matter of time until it goes off the handle and pummels me again. And so even the good times are spent living in fear of when the next blow is going to come.
