Last night made me cringe so hard I wanted the floor to open up & swallow me.

Big boss is not an awful person to talk to... I’ve never thought that though. It’s the overtness of his attention. I just can’t cope with that, especially in front of a room full of people I work with. 😬

It was an all eyes on me evening... I’m not a fan of that at all.

I got his opening gambit almost word for word though... “I told you I’d get you to come to dinner with me, I just needed to invite twenty-three other people to make it happen.”

Yep.

Then there were the “you’re such a unique person”, “I’ve never met anyone like you” “You’re an enigma” comments, & the obvious touching of my hand, & arm.

Honestly I was delighted when the evening was over & I got to escape.

But, everyone else got falling down drunk so I’m hopeful they’ve embarrassed themselves enough to take the light of me, at least a bit.

A girl can dream anyway, right? 😬
