Do you think New Yorkers are all the same

Or does borough change the personality type in your opinion?

Not only borough, but neighborhood, and in some cases specific blocks. I may be from the same borough as someone from Alphabet City, for example, but my experiences are completely different. So, the cultural personality of the area tends to be different based upon demographic clusters, and borough/neighborhood/block. NYC is not a one size fits all kind of place.

@toddr13 I can agree with that. It’s always funny to hear people talk about it like 1. All New Yorkers are the same and 2. Every borough has the same type of people

That is funny and shows a lack of cultural awareness and understanding. I actually have used that argument with SJW types who generalized about New York.
