Will the US ever legalize weed on a federal level? Should they?

Jackaloftheazuresand · 26-30, M
I don't want another "alcohol"

Often people talk about decriminalizing because all the people in prison but the way I see it is that these people broke the law despite knowing what it would get them. They lack respect for laws so they should be punished for that, this is a nice net of principle.

@Jackaloftheazuresand The way I see it, some laws are foolish and based off the reasoning of the ill informed, so therefore, ought to be held in a contemptuous light.

Not until they can guarantee nobody's going to sue them if they go schizo having used it.

Yes, they should..but, I don't think they will...they will keep that power to be used at their leisure...stoners will still be controlled along with the weed..as it is the "street vendors" will again become criminals now and hunted down because they're taking revenue. No, I can't see them giving up all that power

It's only a matter of time.

I think its only a matter of time, Canada just legalized it and Mexico is moving toward it, more and more states are legalizing it at least for medical use, it's going to get to be pointless if it is illegal at the federal level in the US

All the bags of chips would disappear in the stores

@royalblue1193 maybe at first, but the markets would adjust.

I feel that it would help ease tensions.
