If the cashier gave you more change then what the til says. Would you say anything?

Its happened a few times to me with these new owners at my local supermarket. I was in the there today. My grocery came to $14.35 I had $15. He tried to give $5.50 change. So I had to point that out. Even had to tell him how much change to give. His boss was at the next register. He wasn't too happy.

It depends. The big soulless corporate supermarket where I shop overcharges me frequently. I don't always catch it. On the rare occasion their mindless computer undercharges me I don't say a word.
Hardest honesty test I ever nearly flunked. Separated from my husband, supporting my daughter, flat broke - after 8 weeks I found a job. First pay check I cashed, teller gave me $200 too much. I did take it back, but it was sooooo hard.

I would at my local stores for sure. We bought drinks at the airport before we went in holiday and hubby cane awag from tbe bar with a round of drinks....plus more cash than he started with! He didnt say a word!!
I probably wouldn't notice until I got home. I usually just grab the money and shove it in my pocket. And no, I would not make a trip back to the store to return it.

Half the time I'm in some sort of trance so if they did I probably wouldn't notice. I normally use plastic anyway.

That is why i use a card these days, most of the cashiers look dumbfounded when you pay cash
It's happened to me before and I pointed out the error, the cashier was grateful and thanking me.
I do, but they usually get offended when you say something.
