Should I be glad I’m still a virgin? I’m 23 I know I’m probably not alone but it feels like I am

Most people who’ve lost their virginity at a younger age have done it out of peer pressure, regretted who it was with, or don’t even remember it. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I say just do it when you’re ready whether that age be 18 or 35 there shouldn’t be any time limit on it or age frame. You don’t want to rush to it just because of your peers or what’s considered to be norm. I lost mine at an older age compared to my peers and I never felt a certain way about it still being a virgin or anything among my friends I just knew I wanted my first time to be with someone where there was a mutual connection and feelings involved. Even if the relationship didn’t last or end out greatly it was wonderful at the time and I’ve never regretted losing it to that person, felt guilty, or rushed about it. It was the right time for me. 😬

i don't know that you should be glad, but you shouldn't be ashamed either.

theres nothing wrong with it, as for being glad that would be for you to decide
I was until I was 22 if that helps at all

Just feels like everyone around me is losing theirs and I’m nearly thirty not nearly but almost 24 and I feel like I’m falling behind @AllelujahHaptism

@Nutshell29 that's their choice, if you don't feel comfortable, aren't ready or haven't met a suitable person, then why should you do it just cause others are, right?
Nutshell29 · 26-30, F
Yes, guess you’re right thanks Dan @AllelujahHaptism

You should be glad!! Save that experience for someone you love, that loves you. I know it sounds cheesy, but it really is the best way.
Nutshell29 · 26-30, F
Just seems like people around my age are losing it and I’m the only one who hasn’t
I'm sure that some people might accused you as weirdo 😕

Its an individual choice.You are ready when you are ready.

I'm 24 and it won't be long before I turn 25. I'm so embarrassed I wished I lost it a log time ago but I believe sex is only for someone you love. :(
AllelujahHaptism · 36-40, M
@Chickie I don't think that's anything to be embarrassed about :/
