I try to as well, but it's hard not too. I tend to miss a lot of things going on in the world when I'm not on my phone.

Same. I have no problem doing without, since I lived without much technology for much of my life.

I don't use ny phone much as a phone but I use it a LOT as a computer, for writing, and gaming.

I think it’s really difficult to keep off gadgets bc most things revolve around it

Every year I spend the weekend nearest to Christmas with a random collection of 'friends'in Scotland. Mobiles are banned, everyone agrees on how much better it is. Also on Monday heading to the laundrettes 4 people, 4 fks walked into me because they were on thier phones. Lucky I'm a big guy they bounced off, i wasnt moving though I'd seen em. Lol the looks I got? Like it was my fault!

As long as people are not endangering themselves or others (like not paying attention to surroundings, using the phone while driving, etc.) and are paying their bills, their amount of phone use is not really anyone else’s business. 🤔

@bijouxbroussard Yes, but one can subjectively say they wish people didn't use their phones as much! Their opinion is as important as those enslaved to their phones.

@SW-User I didn’t say it wasn’t. Aren’t I allowed to express my opinion as well ?

@bijouxbroussard Yes! I think in terms this would be just counterpoints.
