Hmm?

If you own a business, sell a product, or offer a service should your friends/family be entitled to free or discounted services/products? This isn’t my dilemma, but just curious.

No, any smart business person would not squander their thin profit margin in such a way. That's not to say you couldn't occasionally give one of those people a treat but they aren't 'entitled' to anything from you.

Nope
When one enters into a business the way you have to think changes .
To help a friend out by putting them in touch with resources or keep an eye out for certain items is fine . But let them make the deal on their own .
And if they cant respect your need to run a business then they need to go .

No. NO! Business is business. Nor should anyone accept an inferior product or service from someone, just because they are related.
