I find the liberal aggression towards confederate statues a bit ironic...

Where are the liberal artists defending these sculptures? Where are all the artists who claim art should be provocative and controversial to defend the historical artists that were obviously ahead of their time?

the whole liberal argument against historical moments/confederate history, etc. because they deem it "politically incorrect" or "offensive" is absurd to be honest.

I guess they're all illiterate morons who've never heard of George Santayana (i.e. "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it...")

@Waleskinder: It seems to me you are missing the entire point of GardenSage's post...which is not to immaturely (and inarticulately, I might add) call liberals (or anyone) names, but rather to point out that this is not merely a political issue but also an attack on the right to express oneself through thought-provoking artwork.
