If you had a very dangerous job, would you still want to start a family?

Personally, if I had to be a cop or was part of any law enforcement agency dealing with very dangerous people, I would not want to have a family of my own because, based on experience of some family and friends I know who have such jobs, their families get threatened and are at risk.

My uncle was a cop... Gang Unit... my cousin (his son) walks down the road and gets shot in the legs and the guy looks him in the face and tells him this is a warning to his father... place: Hanover Park, Cape Town, South Africa.

My late friend's mother was a cop... she was followed home and as my friend opened up the gate for her to pull into the drive way, two guys get out of a car and shoots them both then drives off... place: Mitchell's Plain, Cape Town, South Africa. My first friend I lost at age 16.

I was a career crim in my late teens to through most of my 20s. Probs one reason I never found the love of my life or have a family now, left it to little too late and wasted my time with the wrong lovers.
There was a reason why I didn’t lose my virginity till I was 23.
Rule number one of my past career

Show no love, don’t fall in love. Love will get you killed.

I stepped out of that life because I want a family one day.
