Panning for gold ?

I think it would be cool to go panning for gold,one day I just might take a vacation and try it. lol

I think for some reason there are novelty tours that do that kind of thing. If not there should be.

I did it when my kids were small. We panned for gold at the same Coloma California site where gold was discovered by one of my relatives at Sutters mill in the 1850's.

@Ramrod Sure, alittle. If you spend enough time there you'll get a few flakes. It's a bit of work for not much return. But the kids thought it was fun.
