@SW-User Yes, I'm aware of those translations.
1. In Greek it's best translated 'a root'. Do you want me to get boring and technical? And early translators like Tyndale and King James Version got it wrong and it got used in a few translations. KJV was a great early translation, but has a number of issues.
2. It doesn't make sense. Someone rapes a woman. No money or love of money involved. But it's still evil.
