Are you an ambitious person?

How so/why not?

I'm trying to be.
Sometimes I struggle with it... I think because I've had people tell me for years that I won't succeed, that no matter what I do it won't be enough, suggesting I give up because I don't have what it takes... But I'm trying to be ambitious anyway.

@JupiterDreams people who are losing don't,like to see people win. There are things you probably aren't good at. That's true of everyone. Find your strength and double down on it, and ambition gets a lot easier. I believe in you!

@SW-User I think I'm good at writing and I want to make a short-film sometime... but it's frustrating when someone says it's not doable and I'm not likely to get very far.

No. I just can't seem to muster any ambition for anything. I never care enough.

@SW-User to be great at anything requires ambition. You can turn most hobbies into jobs. I love English and do YouTube lectures, as an example.

@SW-User I'm not saying it's for everyone. It's really hard work, but the internet makes earning an average income doing what you love very possible. It just takes time.
