Why has god given up on me and taken all I have again

well seeing as he never existed in the first place he can hardly have given up

we must understand, God's sense of humor is very different from our own. He does not laugh at the simple "man walks into a bar" joke. No, God needs complex irony and subtle farcical twists that seem macabre to you and me.

Which god? There are so many to choose from. I'm guessing it's one of the Christian ones, but I find it's best not to make assumptions.
