Being reserved/shy/introverted

I hate being so reserved and introverted. And being shy doesn't help either..It's just like sometimes I want some people to know me but I just don't feel the need to tell them everything about myself unless we are particularly close and they ask about it...but people don't ask and I'm not close to anyone..lol. I don't wear my heart on my sleeve. I just don't idk. It's just how I am? Anyone else wanna add to this?

I feel so boring and uptight around others. I'm a fun person and I have a good sense of humor, but I'm too reserved. It's also mentally exhausting being around others.

@Bastard I agree like when I used to hang with the couple of friends I had, they'd all laugh at a joke and I'd just stand there...it's not that I didn't find it funny but I just didn't laugh out loud? It kinda had me wondering if that had anything to do with being so reserved all the time. I live in my head. I'm always in there instead of out here.
