What do you think about the boys who use feminist themed memes/cartoons to prove how unfair the world is for them?

rckt148 · 61-69, M
I think the agenda's added to all shows created for kids now days is ridicules
I now download the violent bugs bunny, Mr Magoo ,Flintstones ,Jetsons for my son ,then I am not explaining to him he's not gay because he loves boys and girls the same (we have taught him to love everyone )
but I was mad when he was 6 ,no clue about anything sexual and he argues with me that he is gay because he " loves" his male friends too .
So I had to try and explain to a 6 yr old what Gay actually means
MrK007 · 46-50, M
I'm not sure what you just said, but it sounds really bad.
MrK007 · 46-50, M
@SW-User No, but I'd hope they were joking, if not they need a good kick in the nuts.
SW-User
@MrK007 No definitely not joking. They believe it.
MrK007 · 46-50, M
@SW-User Dumb nuts. The world has gone to shit.
SerenitiesScars · 31-35, M
I find the irony funny xD
SerenitiesScars · 31-35, M
That they can use them and actually make their point with it.. xD
SW-User
@SerenitiesScars LOL. I find it 'wrong fuel to burn in their bitter'. :P
SerenitiesScars · 31-35, M
Well I guess it depends on the examples being used... XD Not sure if we're thinking of the same examples or not.. XD I might be thinking of something else entirely...
ajsk13 · 51-55, M
there a bunch of losers , just making excuses... the world is what you make it ,anyone can succeed if they work hard enough
SW-User
@ajsk13 The worst thing is, they're really stubborn in their hate.
ajsk13 · 51-55, M
@SW-User I think there just looking for a handout , no one wants to work these days ,hence the excuses , there's no ambition to want to make something of your self like there was when I was young
SW-User
@ajsk13 The entitlement. Yeah.
Pathetic, insecure, and not taking responsibility for their own lives.
SW-User
@SapphicHeart Definitely the last 2.
@SW-User
Yes. The first is how they present themselves towards me those cases I've engaged into any form of interaction with them addressing the idiocy behind their memes.
SW-User
@SapphicHeart Fair enough.
Equanimous · 51-55, M
I have not seen any but such comparisons will undermine the seriousness of how the real problem is for girls/women in many countries.
@Equanimous it doesn't concern many countries. It concerns the first world.
MasterofNone · 26-30, M
@SW-User of course! which is why I put that inside the quotation marks in order to make a connection with your other question lol and think you're really only satisfied by rational answers. BTW your other question is one big mystery to me. Tell me if you find a satisfactory answer to that.
SW-User
@MasterofNone Lol. I saw the connection and it made me laugh. You're one smart person.
I don't think there is any one answer to the red flag being real Vs projections of our insecurities. I think we should all be aware of a possibility that it is a false projection before we jump the gun with the 'red flag'. Understanding someone goes a long way towards understanding our reactions.

This really holds true: [quote]People act according to the way they experience the world. If you can understand their experience, you can understand their behavior." — R.D. Laing

MasterofNone · 26-30, M
@SW-User That is definitely true. Takes lot of awareness for sure. Reactions are spontaneous.
Degbeme · 70-79, M
Are you referring to avatars or in posts?
SW-User
@Degbeme Posts. They make posts showing how women are so well treated at the expense of men.
Degbeme · 70-79, M
@SW-User Oh those ones. This is usually my reaction. 🙄
Pfuzylogic · M
I think sissies have that happen to them.
SW-User
i think they’re stupid
SW-User
@SW-User LOL I imagine them to be thumping their chests in their conclusive bitterism.
MenzernaSF4000 · 36-40, M
Oh, umm never see anything like that. 😶
I think it's interesting how uninformed all these people in the comments are. Of course, the question being completely without context was quite important in keeping them uninformed, so it isn't entirely their fault.
The amount of vitriol in this post and it's comments is disgusting.
SW-User
@FearfulHarmonyReborn You're seeing vitriol because you're vitriol. Speaking of something that happens for real does not make it vitriol automatically. Not everyone is a pavement watcher, some people do speak their minds.
@SW-User I don't know what you mean.

Nope men were made to feel like rapey sex monsters for working with children. Now we still have the sex scandals but those of us who would have liked to work with children don't want to tie the noose around our own necks. Thank you feminism.

@Novice 'Feminism' has become so many things. And there is a small group of radical feminists who hate men. A lot of people want to group all feminists together with the radical ones and point fingers en masse.
