Why is it that some voices just sound annoying?

Is it really just me or have you a similar experience? Like, really! I can't even decipher what it is they are trying to say, all I can hear is a kind of high-pitched murmur, as if they are always dealing with a stuffed nose and their tongue is kinda sticking up their soft palate when they talk. My cousin, once said, the landlord's wife sounds like she grew up working as a vendor on the street or at the market. So loud and piercing, again, all you ever hear is the sound, never the words behind it. 😥

It almost always sound comical, like were you conceived out of your parent's love for Donald Duck? Come to think of it, Donald's voice must be the reason why I didn't like him when I was a kid. And now, I happen to think he's better sounding that real people with real Donald Duck voices.

Sheesh.
