Safer. Most people who make the very serious choice to carry are responsible. I've carried for years. I don't open carry though...I think open carry alarms most people, rightly or wrongly. I have close relatives who are in law enforcement, and they will be the first to say that the police can't always be there quickly in a crisis. I look at all the recent shootings and think that in most instances if a responsible and well-trained civilian was carrying as the situation unfolded, perhaps it would have ended differently.

Seriously though, I wouldn't give it a passing thought of any kind.

Guns are meant to kill things .. there is no way in the world that would make me feel safer

While this is legal in my state, it's not something I feel comfortable with, so while I'm sure the person is law abiding, I will take my business elsewhere, unless this is a law enforcement officer.

That happens often around here, and of course, you have no idea how many concealed weapons are in the room. I find it disturbing, knowing the mental state of many people I see each day.
