Philosophically some argue that it is indifference. I do not agree. I can be indifferent about something and not lover or hate it. And that is the "black and white" opposite of love, hate.
In philosophical terms intolerance is closer to it than indifference to me.
But hate is my answer.

@Bearserks they both are emotional responses, to outside stimulation, and people are motivated by both, hate itself is created by fear,, fear is the only other feeling as powerful as love. What people call God has is trying to determine which is better used to control people fear or love. When fear did not work the flood came now they are attempting to use love.
