Do you think circumcised looks better?

Do you think boys should be circumcised because it looks better?
Mel45 · 46-50, F Best Comment
Absolutely. It looks so much better without the wrinkled foreskin. Both my sons are done. In my opinion, all boys should be neatly and tightly circumcised.

I don't really care what other guys' dicks look like, to be honest. I'm uncircumcised and I'm fine with it. I've never had a girl have a problem with it either. I don't think circumcision should be done just for looks.

Imagine if we decided little girls had to alter their sexual organs at birth because men like the way it looks better. That would be considered super sexist.

No they should only be circumcised if they have health problems. I like foreskins.
jakky · 56-60, M
@Txbob52 Same I like my forskin,its nice

Women have massive - almost total influence over male circumcision.

First they alone decide who they will favour with a sexual relationship and a man's circumcision status forms part of the decision making process. There are Women who will not consider a man eligible for intimacy if he has a foreskin and others who will not consider a man eligible for oral sex if he has a foreskin.

I can tell you my Wife decided all right... and she makes very frequent and regular use of my circumcised penis...

Second Women have the authority to have any son they have circumcised as an infant - they get to decide for their son if he lives his life with or without a foreskin... in effect their preference is carried forward to the next generation. Small wonder my Wife and my Mother get along so well....

@pdqsailor1 both parents should discuss the issue and look into before making a rash decision ... if they leave him intact then he can decide latter
consa01 · 70-79, M
For most intact men, erection makes the foreskin vanish.
The only person whose opinion matters is the person connected to the foreskin under debate.
If I were to use my parental authority to shorten the labia minora of my daughters because I thought that ample labia spilling out of the cleft of Venus was unsightly, I would be seen as a monster -- and rightly so.
Last heard, male nudity is still taboo (the taboos against female nudity are eroding fast). The upshot is that how the foreskin looks does not matter, because very few people will see it other than the dude it is a part of.
chrisCA · M
Absolutely not.
mathsman · 70-79, M
It's not the look
The tip is differently sensitive after the cut
Do you prefer the look of a cut too?
mathsman · 70-79, M
@consa01 Who knows?
devonman · 61-69, M
Aesthetically, my wife preferrs the circumcised member .
consa01 · 70-79, M
@devonman Does she appreciate that both kinds of penises often look very much alike when they are both erect?
meemo70 · 51-55, M
Because it looks better and it’s healthier

Cut and uncut look quite different (that's just my opinion) ONLY if they are both limp. For most men, an erection makes their foreskin do a vanishing act. Women and gay men should value the appearance of only the erect penis. What the natural penis looks like when limp should not matter.

Can you differentiate a circumcised from an uncircumcised in full hot erection?
consa01 · 70-79, M
@Davis35 It;s very easy if hands-on is allowed!
The ridged band and the frenulum betray intactness under a good light and a practiced eye. Seeing the frenulum requires viewing the underside of the penis, which requires that the penis owner be willingly hands on.
Lanyx · 41-45, M
@Davis35 Yes. Even with the foreskin pulled back, I would be able to spot the difference. Then you get guys like me, who like to fake the circumcised look.
consa01 · 70-79, M
@Lanyx I faked for decades, which is why I was never stared at or mocked in locker rooms and public showers. No one ever called me out for trying to hide my having a Weird Dick. This is why I am confident that almost no baby boom American could tell that a man could have a fully bared glans while remaining intact.
joyful30 · 51-55, C
doesnt matter much I guess
consa01 · 70-79, M
@joyful30 Many Americans simply don't appreciate how erection usually makes the foreskin vanish.
Ozdharma · 61-69, M
definitely not my son is intact

Depends on choice...
According to medical science..foreskin is important ...it's keep glass sensitive...
Secondly protect tip of penis
If I talk about hygiene..one should wash it daily by removing foreskin with soap..

I would say yes. I have my foreskin. I'm not hating it; i think a circumcised penis does look nicer.
tutorme2014 · 26-30, M
So, consider having it done.
kaf9292 · 80-89, M
No, not at all. A circumcised penis looks obscene. No protective foreskin for us avid nude male hikers. 😡
consa01 · 70-79, M
@kaf9292 Your opinion is a common one among traditional cultures that do not circumcise. In such cultures, the only truly obscene male body part is the glans, whose revelation betrays sexual excitement. There are intactivist mothers this century who say that circumcision is deplorable because it sexualises a child's body 24/7. These mothers flat out say that the glans should be seen only in the bedroom. Since the circ rate in locker rooms etc. when I was growing up, was 99%+, I do not share in these views. But I understand where they come from.
