Why is the legend of zelda called the legend if zelda, when it should be the legend of Link?

Zelda was Queen Guenivuire's inspiration.

Link is actually the King of Italy, and King Arthur's arch enemy and tbe original best friend of Sir Lancelot.

It's a part of a set of Legends that originated in German texts long ago and predate Christianity.

Cuz its about saving zelda. Like he is the hero but shes the princess

Cuz Zelda is hot
