Why do people like little dogs?

Don't say because they are cute, plenty of bigger dogs are cute

It's just a preference thing. I have a small dog and he's great. I think they tend to live longer as well.

@Jackaloftheazuresand I find a lot of bigger dogs stink, they tend to drool more, when they get rambunctious
they tend to do more damage. Now that's not every big dog I'm sure lots are clean and well behaved but I've seen a lot that aren't haha.

I have no idea. Real dogs are large and useful. If it fits in a kleenex box, it may as well be a cat.

Some housing complexes and associations only allow under 35 #. Some people are afraid big dogs take up too much room or will over power them.

We traveled a lot. Smaller dogs traveled easier. They were also happier in small hotel rooms, the trailer and temporary apartments.
