How often do you cry?

I cry almost every day since my mom passed away earlier this year. I tend to cry less when I self medicate with alcohol, but that's just a temporary fix and I usually cry more the next day.

It really depends. I cry while watching certain documentaries, so...
It's good to cry it out and it's no surprise that emotions are bubbling up now that you aren't drinking.
Please find some healthy outlets to get those feelings out. Boxing, running, exercise can really help. Also consider journaling those feelings, I promise it all will help. Keep being strong and be proud of yourself for having the courage to face these unresolved feelings.

Several times a week. It can be annoying or inconvenient but also cleansing.

When I got sober, i did the same thing. EVERYTHING made me cry. It was kind of ridiculous, and it made me and my friends laugh. That all evened out. I used to cry a lot more then I do now. It's about once a month anymore.

2-3 times a week.

More often than before I turned 20. I never used to cry when I watched movies, now I have to fight back tears whenever there's a dying/funeral scene. The topic of death and abandonment has been making me cry too often lately.
