I Remember My First Kiss

My first real kiss was a bit embarrassing. I was 15 and was invited to a pool party, that ended up being my best friend, his brother, their dates and another girl named Teresa. Seems they forgot to tell me that I was the date for Teresa so their dates would show up. Neither she nor I knew we'd been set up and to top it all off, she was 18. All six of us sat in a hot tub together.

I can faintly remember something like the Eagles, Kansas or Foreigner playing on KGB FM 101.5 in the background. While she and I were having a great conversation, the others were getting a bit busy. I have a feeling we were both a bit nervous, but then it came, while talking, my friend and his brother tired of hearing our banter, grabbed our heads and turned us facing each other and pushed us together.

They laughed and we didn't stop kissing for some time. She was wonderful, tender, slow and didn't judge this poor sap for not being experienced. She taught me how to be playful, passionate and loving in our kisses over some time. Though many thought it was a bit weird that I was so young. That's as far as our relationship went before she went off to college, but it meant the world to me.
