I Like Dark Humor

We were at a camp ground in Vermont called the maple leaf camp ground. Only two cars there, the owner and a man my age at the time. The man my age had a fire going with 14' logs shaped in a triangle burning till it reached the sky. I asked him why such a huge fire when there's only you here. He laughed and said you'll see. About 5pm the sky got dark and all you could see was a black cloud coming and it blocked the sun. I got my kids in the car and my wife just in time. First there were a few flys then many, then thousands. Covered are whole car, my children were crying and are car was covered in flys so deep you couldn't see out.
