Was I wrong?

I was dating a girl for nearly two years when I went to uni (she was the year below me at school so stayed behind.) I ended up dating someone else and I dumped my girlfriend when she came to see me. We did stay friends, but a few months later she started dating a really close friend, I haven’t spoken to either of them since even though she has called/text me lots of times to say sorry. I feel betrayed.

Yes, you're wrong. You don't have a right to dictate who she can date. It might work out, it might not. But for now, she found someone who appreciates her and treats her well, and, in turn, she appreciates him. Their relationship has nothing to do with you. If you truly care about your friendship with each of them, you'll accept the situation and be happy for them. Good friends aren't something to be taken for granted.

Fwiw, she has nothing to apologize for and you are the one that owes them both an apology. If you can't move past this, then let the friendships go. You'll be doing them both a favor.

Oh whatever @SW-User

@Strongtea You asked a question. I answered it honestly. If you wanted someone to agree with you and blow smoke up your butt, you should have mentioned that.

You dumped her first, why would you even care? lol

I thought i’d be able to get back together with her as the other girl was no where near as attractive@Elessar

@Strongtea Try to see things from her PoV: would you get back together with someone who dumped/replaced you already?

@Elessar trying to teach empathy to those without is a pursuit similar to teaching pigs to fly.

You dumped her.
You don't get to feel betrayed.

This is unacceptable. How dare she find someone better than you?!
